LS Football is back. 1st game in 2018, Pre Season
SFFL 2018 week 1, mempertemukan Lobster Spartan dengan tim superior juara 5
kali berturut – turut, Crocodile. Untuk beberapa pemain, pertandingan tersebut
bukan yg pertama kalinya di 2018 ini. Beberapa pemain seperti C Hermawan Pray,
QB Ardha, TE Ivanno Yudha, RB Hasbi Azhar, OLB/DE Lucky Nahar, dan CB Tigo SH,
telah mengikuti pertandingan antar Conference di Jogja, Januari lalu.
1st half.
LS memulai game dengan offense. Beberepa run dari RB Hasbi
Azhar terbilang cukup efektif. TE Ivanno Yudha sempat mendapat passing apik
dari QB Ardha namun sayang masih incomplete. 2 plays later, trickery play tidak
tereksekusi dengan sempurna ended incomplete. Turnover on down.
Defense checking in for the first time. D-front di isi oleh
Surabaya Bowl 5’s 2 leader in sack, OLB Lucky Nahar (17) dan DT Bagasrana Putra
(10), putting pressure from the start. Meskipun kesulitan dalam passing play,
QB Crocodile Gasa succeed making plays with his feet. Deflagging yg terbilang
buruk membuat Crocodile dengan cepat berada di redzone LS. Namun, S Yan Everst
coming clutch, Gasa rolling out from the pocket, looking, and throw it to "the
Dragon" in the endzone, Intercepted! Turnover on down.
Offense kembali masuk ke lapangan. Menerapkan combo play yg
sama seperti drive sebelumnya, Habek berhasil memberikan 2 first down after
good yard after catch. 3rd and goal. Ardha passing the ball to the
corner in the endzone, Ino grabbed left-one-handed grab and secure it with 2
hands, 2 feet down, Touchdown. 6 – 0. PAT with trickery pura – pura run, namun
ternyata passing the ball to Bagas who line up as TE, Catch, Touchdown! 7 – 0
Crocodile Offense kembali masuk lapangan. Several good plays
save them in last 2 minute drive in 1st Half dan kembali cepat
berada di depan redzone. Crocodile berhasil mencetak TD setelah scramble dari
QB Gasa. Again, poor deflagging performance from defense. Beruntung, PAT mereka
gagal, 7 – 6 at the Half.
2nd Half.
Pada 2 Drive pertama, Defense tampil begitu apik. Applying pressure, makes Quarterback too early to pass the ball. 2 INTs sekali lagi oleh Yan dan CB Tigo SH. Namun, Offense looks a little bit off, tidak bisa memanfaatkan momentum yg telah dibangun oleh tim Defense.
With great mindset, Crocodile dengan cepat berada di redzone LS (lagi) untuk yg kesekian kalinya. Crocodile sempat berhasil mencetak Touchdown, namun dianulir, ruled as charging foul, back for 15 yards. Namun, penalty tersebut tak merubah apapun, LS-D gagal memanfaatkan penalty tersebut berimbas kepada Touchdown yg lain dari Crocodile. PAT pun berhasil. 13 - 7.
Tertinggal membuat tensi permainan semakin tinggi. Namun Offense berhasil mendapat timing mereka kembali. Maju hingga redzone, 2nd and Goal. Ardha rolling out from pocket, looking, and throw it to the middle of traffic, Intercepted! Turnover di menit2 akhir.
Defense kembali masuk dengan mindset membuat Crocodile three-and-out. Crocodile complete pass on 2nd down. Making them just close enough to get a 1st down. 3rd and short, bad snap, mundur beberapa yard dan harus out setelah memilih Punt on 4th down.
8 seconds left. All Hail Mary play. Play pertama dimaksudkan kepada Tigo, overthrow, incomplete, time stops. 3 seconds remain. All or nothing. Ardha going left, high-long pass intended to "the Winter Soldier", Catch! sideline, Touchdown!! No Flag. Boom!! 13 - 13. PAT for 1 point. Ardha starts to rolling out from the pocket, looking, pass to Habek, catch! Complete! Touchdown. 13 - 14. The End.

Sementara itu, LS akan berjumpa Ubaya Predator pada week 2 Pre-Season Surabaya Flag Football League 2018. Pertandingan akan di gelar di Lapangan Putro Agung, jam pertama, 07.30 - selesai. Keep #AllIn and #SeizeOurGlory
