LS alami kekalahan perdana atas Crocodile

LS berjumpa lawan berat dari divisi 'sebelah', sang juara bertahan, Crocodile. Safety Tigo SH dan D-Tackle Ali Maghfudhon absen pada pertandingan penting tersebut. 2 seri terakhir pada gelaran SurBowl season 4, dimenangkan oleh Crocodile sementara LS terakhir kali menang pada Opening Game Surabaya Bowl season 3.

1st Half.

      LS memulai game dengan Offense. RB Hasbi Azhar membuka dengan 8 yards gain into Crocodile territory. Namun, harus turnover on down pada drive pertama. The explosive offense from Croco enter the field for their 1st drive. OLB Lucky Nahar berhasil melakukan sack pada play pertama. 5 yards pass kepada TE Fajar Yudha oleh QB Gasa Samodra terhenti setelah leading deflagging SS Abibeeh deflagged him. 2 plays later, incomplete pass sent them out of the field.

      Offense masuk untuk drive kedua. Holding penalty (LG Dicky Darjo) di play pertama, membuat mundur 10 yards. Pass complete gain for six untuk WR Grahadeden di play kedua. On 3rd down, Crocodile's star Fauzan Umar intercepted the ball intended to Habek returned for 20 yards, just 1 yard from the endzone.

      Tak butuh waktu lama untuk Crocodile offense mencetak skor. Gasa put the ball in the middle after the receiver had a delay-drag in route. 6 nothing! PAT sukses ditujukan kepada WR Azzam Satria.

      Keep stick with the run play, LS mendapat 1st down pada 3rd down. 2 plays later, play action pass intended to rookie WR Diaz Wildansyah gain 13 yards put LS on redzone area. 2nd-year corner Raynaldi Edo yg diharuskan mengisi posisi kosong di WR spot (setelah absennya Robbi Baihaqi dan Ahmad Shultan) berhasil menangkap bola di endzone! Touchdown! Namun sayang, PAT is not good setelah Grahadeden dropped the ball.

2nd Half.

      Defense memulai pertandingan di babak kedua. Good kick off and fumble mistake makes Crocodile start their drive from their red area. Hampir selalu bermain apik pada 1st & 2nd down, LS defense selalu kecolongan pada 3rd down. 3 plays later, busted coverage by secondary makes crocodile entering the red area. Long drive ended with a touchdown after Gasa move out from the pocket, extend the play and 2 yards TD to Azzam. PAT mereka juga berhasil, 14 - 6.

      D-line croco sedikit kendor terhadap run play LS di babak kedua, after makes Habek averagging just 2.1 yards/carry. 2 plays later, 4th and 1, berniat untuk menipu dengan play action, LS justru kehilangan yards, membuat turnover on down.

      Very next play, Gasa deep ball to Azzam once again turn into a Touchdown. 1 play touchdown. 28 yards TD. PAT is not good, 20 - 6 and 2 minute warning.

      Kembali berhasil maju hingga redzone, kembali harus turnover untuk kesekian kalinya setelah complete pass 8 yards intended for Diaz, just shy of 4 yards from the endzone. Skor 20 - 6 bertahan hingga pertandingan usai.

Sementara LS akan kembali menghadapi tim sesama divisi, UPN Wyvern pada week 5 Surabaya Bowl season 5 - Major League.
