Despite another ending loss season, another big loss, LS memiliki beberapa pemain penting yg bermain sangat apik tahun ini. Dan perlu di apresiasi. Apresiasi tersebut salah satunya adalah melalui masuknya mereka ke jajaran Top 36 players, atau Nominasi untuk Best 16 tahun ini.

Ada total 7 pemain LS yg berhasil masuk ke Top 36 tersebut. Kalian bisa voting langsung untuk mereka di Instagram official Surabaya Bowl dengan cara like postingan tentang mereka. Berikut adalah 7 pemain LS yg berhasil masuk nominasi untuk Best 16 Surabaya Bowl tahun ini :

1. Hermawan L Pray | Center | 2nd Year

      Sudah tidak usah diragukan lagi kemampuan dan peran dari pemain satu ini di LS. Tahun lalu, Whalewan berhasil melakukan 10 pancakes dan masuk Best 16 Center in his rookie year! Walaupun tak sebanyak tahun lalu, dan miss 2 games, Whalewan tetap berhasil masuk ke nominasi Best 16 untuk Center dan menjadi Seed #1. With 174 total snaps, he just allowing 5 pressure to the Quarterback, 1 Hurries, and 2 sacks. Just wow!

2. Reno Ramadhan | Left Guard | Rookie

      This kid play all 10 games this season. And a starter! Maybe the youngest Guard to start and play this season in Major League. Tahun lalu, ia berhasil masuk Best 16 Minor, dengan kemampuannya tersebut, LS langsung memagari nya season ini. Had a bad games at week 5 and 10, but in overall, he led the rookie O-Line in total snaps; 183 snaps. With 14 pressure allow 5 Hurries and 3 sacks, not too shabby for a rookie.

3. Hasbi Azhar | Running Back | 5th Year

      Best running back in the game and one of the best asset on this team. Last year just play 4 games after Hamstring injury, back for 10 games in this season. 5 Different TDs this season [Pass, Rec, Rush, Ret, INT] and 12 Total TDs [8 pass, 1 Rec, 1 Rush, 1 Ret, 1 INT]. Led the league in rushing yards with 518 yards and 5.9 average in 87 attemps. He gets 1000+ yards in total; 419 pass, 518 rush, 112 rec, 135 ret.

4. Lucky Nahar | Linebacker | 3rd Year

      In 2015 season, a rookie DT makes into Best 16. 2016 season, make it to Best 16 as a Defensive End. 2017, now, nominee as a LB. Really?? 3 different position, and all make it to Best 16!? Wow!! Lucky Nahar had 24 total sacks in total 3 season campaign. Most in the league. 17 sacks this season was a record! 7 more than 2nd in sacks [Bagasrana Putra; 10] and 3 more than ITS Seaborg's duo [Syarif Maulana + Syahputra Ernanda; 14]. We got you bro!

5. Farhan Rafis | Linebacker | 4th Year

      He was a primary linebackers in 2015 season with LS 2 years ago but ended out for a season after injury. Makes him just watch the team from sideline in 2015 SurBowl final. 2016 season was a slump. But this year, different role, and a successful bounce back! 11 total Deflagging; 2nd in team, 4 for loss, 5 sacks; 2nd in team, and a pass defended makes his best season so far. He and lucky totaling 22 sacks, most in the league for best pass rusher duo, 21 deflagging 7 for loss makes them 4th best LBs Duo in the league.

6. Raynaldi Edo | Cornerback | 2nd Year

      Edo was best shutdown corner in his rookie year. Namun ia sedikit menurun season ini tapi tetap memberikan permainan terbaiknya di situasi yg dibutuhkan. Berada di seed 2 tahun lalu, performa nya tahun ini mempengaruhi seed nya sehingga turun ke posisi 3. Still, one of Best corner in the game, he had a bad game once in week 5, but he's back at week 6 till the playoffs. One of the best talent we have!

7. Abi Nurrafdi | Safety | 2nd Year

      Abibeeh hanya melakukan total 6 deflagging tahun lalu. 32 Deflagging tahun ini. 2 INTs and 2 pass deflection makes his season more complete. He step more in the box than last season. Abibeeh memiliki peran yg cukup besar mengontrol, merolling LS Defensive Front sehingga mampu menghasilkan impact yg apik di setiap gamenya. Such a good leader!
